Kong Kong Fishing Trip Blog, Johor Bahru Day Fishing Trip !

Hi everyone !! I've been wanting to write about my visit to Kong Kong Fish Farm in Johor Bahru.

This visit was last year (back in  2016) but we had so much fun on a day fishing trip !
Would definitely go visit again . Its a nice break from the busy city life :)

An introduction on the small fishing village: Kong Kong Laut is located in Taman Kota Masai. Its about 40-45 mins drive from the JB Woodlands Checkpoint.
The google maps address is Kong Kong Laut.

The fish farm we visited is called Kong Kong Fish Farm:

The location and contact details are:

Its a floating fish farm where people can visit, and also fish , for a fee.
He will fetch you from the jetty using a small speedboat .

He and his staff can also sell and cook seafood meal for the group :) its flexible (what time, how many people, want meal or not, rental of fishing equipement etc) so contact him for information and pricing !

We went for day trip (afternoon to evening, finished with early dinner). And we also had seafood meal, cooked some of the fishes we caught (either can fish from the sea or fish from inside his "nets" hahaha for different type of fishes !) Different fish different prices ~

Shall let the pictures show the story :)

Being picked up from the jetty and getting on the speedboat to reach the floating fish farm. Its about 10 mins speedboat ride ! very nice haha.

Lots of shaded area and lots of fish ! very relaxing hehe

We brought some of our own equipment , and buy bait from them ...

After half day of fishing , we had our seafood meal ! They have lots of options, depending what you order :) I cant remember the exact prices but it was very reasonable , even for malaysia standard. the seafood is all fresh from their nets :)

people catch all types of weird stuff ! even stingrays and sea snakes haha.. it was fun though.

Overall a very relaxing day getaway from the city to experience the kampung life :)
We enjoyed the trip very much and if you're thinking of a fishing trip in JB this is it !

*non sponsored, just sharing our experiences :)*
