Reebonz MarketPlace Blog Review (own shopping experience non-sponsored)

Hi everyone , thought I would share my experience on my recent purchase on Reebonz Marketplace .

Prior to this, I did purchase several items from Reebonz themselves before when I had credits and discount codes ! Haha ! I also did sell items through Closets before as well ... :) But this is my first time buying from the marketplace ..

Apparently what I understand from Reebonz is that the Marketplace is actually overseas secondhand luxury shops that are verified and sell authentic products .. At first I'm abit skeptical but one fine day I received a 25% discount code from their email mailer and saw something I wanted ! >.< 

I read their FAQs on the Marketplace website before purchase and felt comfort that although the item can be used for discount code, it can also be returned if I'm not happy with it .. This is a case by case basis though, remember to check the details of the item , if its not returnable it will be stated there ! 

About my item; I've actually been looking around for a LV sling bag with top zippers , which are not too large , comfortable size for travel or outdoors.. I am looking for second hand as LV products generally age well haha, my Damier Speedy B 35 is 3 years old this year and still look brand new ! Lol .. And I am not someone who takes meticulous care of my bags.. Just throw on floor and use .. Haha :) I'm not really fussy about the bags I am going to keep for my own use .. 

So i came across vintage LV Reporter PM ! Thought that it was really functional and I did do some research to find a good one at a good price ... I looked at Yoogis Closet and found one but the price is more expensive than this one .. When i received the mailer , I saw that this store "Midunoya" based in Osaka, Japan , was selling it on the Reebonz Marketplace thus immediately jumped on the chance !

They did have many pictures of the bag and I find it quite comprehensive ..

So happy that after applying discount code , the bag is only 400 or so ! Its is good condition, and i wasn't fussy about its condition as it looked OK in the pictures...  I felt it was a great deal so I went ahead to purchase it .. They said that the shipping is expected to be a week or so..

After payment purchase , Reebonz immediately sent me the payment receipt .. And within the same day , they sent me another email to say my item has been shipped !

I was expected the shipment to reach next week but within 2 days of the shipped email , i received a DHL slip at my doorstep (i was not at home) .. Thus went to collect my shipment Self Collection at DHL.. They do offer you several options to deliver your shipment .. 

But i got to say that maybe not every item from Marketplace is shipped by DHL.. Cos i'm only sharing my own experience and mine is DHL :) 

So i went to DHL to collect my shipment !! On Day 4 of the purchase I have received my goods already ^^ happy !! So efficient !! 

It was well packaged though.. 

 

First thing that I saw when I opened the box...

 

Bag wrapped in Bubble wrap ! 

This bag comes with nothing, it is described as in the product description.. So immediately checked the date code on the bag , as per product description as well .. And the smell and feel.. Its authentic .. :)

Very pleased with my purchase and the bag looks newer than expected !!! I checked everything and Inside is very clean and everything is working and intact , best of all is the price i got it  very worth it :) hehe !!! I will update with outfit pics when i bring it out, it seems perfect for traveling :))

Batam Blog 2015 : Nagoya Mansion Hotel - Majesty Spa & Massage - Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall

Hello Friends ! Thanks for dropping by :)

So we went to Batam during one of the long weekends !

Well , it was the National Day long weekend ... and all the hotels were fully booked ! So we only managed to grab the last room at Nagoya Mansion Hotel and Residence ... On the map it seemed near , like walking distance from Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall... so we shall see ......

After the first night here, we will be going to Montigo Resorts !

Took the not so early ferry but it was sooo crowded.. usual for Singapore long weekend !

 We took the ferry to HARBOUR BAY FERRY TERMINAL , cos our original plan was to eat seafood there but upon arrival ... we found that the whole terminal is under renovation :( 

So we took a cab from HARBOUR BAY FERRY TERMINAL to our hotel NAGOYA MANSION HOTEL .. 

It was a 10mins cab ride and costs about SGD$8 ...

Upon reaching the hotel , it was damm crowded !!!!! OMG .. Woes of long weekend travellers ... 

Check in time was a standard 2pm. We reached the place at 12.30pm...

Asked for early check in , but the counter staff told us they had no rooms now .. I was thinking if we waited till 2pm and the queue was so long, our whole day gone already !!!! And the counter is damm slow !!! 

So i told them the magic word "TOP UP" .. then OK already !!!!

 LOL... We paid SGD $82 for our One Night Stay here .. and Top Up SGD $20 for immediate service check in plus Room upgrade !!!!!! Wheeeeeeee .... I think its worth it .. Cos they gave us a new renovated room and immediately get the room .. no need to wait at all ... :D 

So we could rest a while before going out ....

Was lazy to go out for lunch so we had quick lunch by ordering room service !!!! 

Room service was nice , quite fast and not ex... Like all below $10 for food items .. Portion of the pizza was huge, as you can see.. Nasi goreng very nice !! 

  

So after lunch we started walking to Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall !

Apparently the hotel is located on top of a small hill and you had to walk down and walk for 10-15mins on the roadside pavement to reach the mall . It wasn't that near and will not be too convenient if not able to walk up & down ... And gotta say that the path will be too dark at night to walk .. We walked in the afternoon and it was OK.. At night we took cab back , costs about SGD$5...

So a few day prior to our trip , we checked TripAdvisor for good massage places and found : MAJESTY SPA AND MASSAGE place which was really near , literally located the shophouses right outside Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall !! Super convenient ! But if you want to do this, you need to make appointments way before .....

Price List , as of Aug 2015 ! We did 3 hours .. I felt 3 hours too damm long -.-

  

As raved ... Free flow food counter !!!! Wheee !!! Wanted to eat cup noodles but got stopped...

I personally felt that 3 hours was too long !!!!

We had a couple room .. the whole room was RED .. like BRIGHT RED .. how to relax ?!! Sorry maybe I am colour conscious but subconsciously you won't be able to relax.. I got really fidgety haha... 

The room was OK size, proper bed.. not lie on the floor.. and there was a shower / bathroom in the room attached.. So it was OK... 

Overall I felt that it was OK experience only.. not that great..... :/

After the massage, we went back to the mall for A&W before our movie !!!! :D

  

Movies so cheap SGD$3.50 , how to not watch ?!!!!!!

Apparently the cinema was really packed.. 

So after the movie we took a roadside cab , but be careful what kind of cab you take at night , or can ask the hotel to order a cab for you ... Back to our Hotel it costs about SGD$5 but we gave abit more ...

The bed was really comfortable though !!!

Had a sumptuous buffet breakfast ! (included in hotel price)

    

Quite a lot of cooking stations ! Got for mee goreng , eggs, and waffles / pancakes ...

  

  

 

After breakfast, we checked out and headed to Batam Centre Ferry Terminal ..

SGShop Review [ Shopping Taobao in Singapore ]

Hello friends !!!

Today I'm going to share on my shopping experiences on Taobao & various China e-commerce websites by using SGShop (a Singapore Taobao Agent)  ^^ I myself have been using SGshop very often nowadays for my personal purchases as well as for my business.

SGShop Warehouse is located : 81 Ubi Avenue 4, Singapore 408830

As an avid online shopper , I started using SGShop unintentionally coming across their website , decided to give them a try as things are really much cheaper on Taobao & you can find pratically anything you are looking for !

Below shows a screengrab of their home page , which basically shows their shipping rates !

Step 1: Enter keywords in English or the product URL of the China website of the products you wish to purchase . If you enter keywords in English, they will be automatically translated into Chinese, so you may need to simplify your wordings !

Step 2 : When you are at the product page , it will look something like this ! Sharing from my personal experience as the very first thing I bought from here is something for my pet guinea pigs haha :)

**Things to look out for : THE SHIPPING RATES !! Please check and double check before adding to cart !! ---> again speaking from personal experience because the first time I chose wrongly -- I chose "special air"  -.-    which is actually the most expensive as it is for delicate goods.. If you wish to change shipping method, there is a fee to be paid !!

The choices of the products may not be in good English, please check before selection !

You can choose options of the different shipping methods: I always choose Express Air, and even with this , the minimum waiting time to receive my products is still 7 days (1 week) , please note this !! The slowest shipping is Sea Shipping, which I have encountered in taking 1 month to get my products OMG...

But I have to comment that SGShop is really very helpful in answering my queries and my requests to expeditie some orders which I needed urgently, they have helped me with the deadlines ! Thumbs up for good service , always receive a reply from them within 12 hours of my email.

Step 3 : Add product to cart, select the correct choice , select shipping method and check out .

Payment wise : For this first time , you will be paying for the product prices you purchased.

Step 4: Wait for SGShop to process your orders

** Sometimes you will encounter "Problematic Orders" which I have experienced before :
Could be product out of stock, or the shipping prices changed then you will have to top up ...
Below is a screengrab of the "Problematic Order" ... They will email you of the problematic order and then you have to log in to check !

Then again, wait for your parcel to arrive at SGShop Singapore, meanwhile they will be handling all the logistics !

If you wish to buy specifically an item from any China Website, you can utilize their "Ship for Me" service , in which they have a China warehouse address where you can ship to ; personally I have not tried this yet . But you can refer to : http://www.sgshop.com/?shipforme=address

Step 5 : Yay!!!! Your goods finally arrived SGShop !!

Now you have to submit delivery & make the 2nd payment - which is Payment for International Shipping ...

and choose your delivery or self-collection method from them . I always choose self-collection to save on cost plus I have a lot of products to retrieve as well anyway ~

** So total there is 2 payments to be made :
1st is the payment for the goods, 2nd is payment for the Intl Shipping fees and taxes

In my opinion its quite a convenient location to collect my goods at the warehouse location :)

Happy with the service that SGShop has provided me , thumbs up for the customer service.

One point to note that the shipping fees may be a bit higher than expected, but overall the products are still much cheaper than buying locally, or can't get locally :)
