So thought we would do a BKK Tailor Review cos Chee went to tailor his clothes @ Unique Tailors during our March Trip last year to BKK !
(this is not sponsored & we did not ask for referral link) just felt that its good service, fast, efficient, good quality and worth it so decided to write about it :)
Prior to choosing this shop , we actually did extensive research online , such as using other blog reviews and TripAdvisor !
It was our first time tailoring anything and we didn't know what to expect, just concern with the price ! Haha !!
So we found Unique Tailors and its promotional pricing !
1 Suit Jacket, 1 Pants & 3 Long Sleeve Shirts = 7,990 Baht ($310)
-as of March 2016 (promo price)-
QUITE GOOD DEAL EH?! Cos buying a suit jacket and pants set in SG will cost about $250 already ..
The main concern is that Chee is not "default" size .. Non-default size people will understand ! He is in between the usual Medium and Large sizes , and it's difficult to find jackets to suit him properly as he has broad shoulders, shorter length arms, normal size body length and short legs .. -.- sorry babe..
But that's why we decided on going to tailor !! HAHAH and they did it very well !! apparently they are very familiar with the cutting of the clothing and also they are very experienced !

Walking to the shop from Terminal 21 takes about 10mins along a busy road, its not a difficult walk..
Finally reached the shop !!!
There were quite a good range of fabrics to choose from, some premium ones have the "top-up" option but the shop owners were not pushy about it .. in fact we felt that they were very friendly and suggested suitable fabrics for the purpose of wear (eg; for work, for our ROM party etc).. and the quality of the suits are very good !!!!
After we viewed their work, we decide to add on another suit jacket for promo add on price (i forgot how much) but its worth it..
After we spent about 30min to choose fabrics, the first initial measuring was taken ..
Total we came back 3 times :
1st time: choose fabric, 1st round measuring & pay some deposit (about half of the price)
2nd: 2nd round measuring with trying on of half completed suits and confirmation of the "cutting" of the clothing .
3rd: collection and pay rest of the price !
Everything done within 3 working days ! So efficient and very well sewn :)

Day 3: collection and all done !
Hun said the clothes were very comfortable and they are very experienced with the tailoring and the quality of the fabric is very good, we're happy with them cos they are very efficient, transparent and easy to communicate with :) (did lots of emails before we went down the shop)
Showing the pic of a suit that he wore for our ROM :) I really like this look so much ! Did 2 suits, this one and a usual black one for work occasions..
