Day 3:
Taipei Outskirts
We hired a driver for today 1 D Taipei Outskirts Tour! After reading forums and research, I contacted this driver , Mr Liao

He is soooo super friendly and nice !!! Very talkative, cheerful and friendly person ! Actually he does tours beyond Taipei, but I didn't know that actually I can use the same driver for the whole trip *first time in TW*. So next time for my whole trip I will use him ! We also recommended our family friend to use him and they have all very pleasant experiences :)
My 10 hour tour Itinerary he has provided me with. Pickup 7.30am at my hotel lobby :

*after I came back from my trip I realised that many people take 2 days to complete this tour ! haha... :D

On the way to Yehliu Geo Park
its SUPER WINDY - Please wear jeans !!! I wore leggings with skirt and kinda regretted..

It was super windy and drizzling when we just stepped in ! But it feels like you're in a sand desert or smth .
This is the famous Empress ! Heard she will be "gone" in a few years time due to wind erosion ...
This market selling foodstuffs is right outside the geopark exit ! Good to shelter from the wind and rain and also yummy warm food :D
Orh Jian - so fresh ! Seafood caught in this area supplies to whole of Taipei !
Our very friendly driver brought us to nearby seafood restaurant to have our lunch !

This is the GOLDEN FALLS !
Driving upslope
Reached the edge of the cliff where there was perfect view of Ying Yang Sea ! Can you see in the pic !
Back on the car again for a hilly ride
First sight of Jiu Fen !
These little roads are plowed with large tourist buses ! The drivers must be damm skillful.. it looks kinda dangerous ...
This is the entrance to Jiu Fen Old Streets ! SO many interesting shops selling handicrafts, foodstuffs and desserts :D
This mushrooms is must try !!! Damm nice...
View from the edge ! The streets are rather long, Easily can spend 3 hours here
Had a little time to have a quick drink at one of the cafes located on the slope ! Beautiful scenery and lovely weather, could be at this cafe the entire day !

Hopped back to the car and made our way to Shifen Waterfalls
There is Shifen Railway track !
Sky was turning dark so we quickly made a move to the place where sky lanterns are lit and released for good wishes :D Its just beside a operational railway track ! When the train comes, people just shout to each other to get off
Ended our tour about 9pm and reached back to Taipei our hotel about 10pm + !
Had dinner at nearby yoshinoya :D
That marks the end of a fruitful day 3 !
